Wedding Photography Editorials
Working in several locations across the world Gianluca and Mary Adovasio utilize the natural choreography of their subjects to create wedding imagery of elegance and sophistication. Perceptive, bold, out-of-the-box, allowing for character and strength of spirit shine through their images, they challenge the idea of static posing and channel the joy of life into every single shot they take.
We have always felt strongly that a real wedding should not thrum monotonously or be quasi-dynamic. Through our wedding photography editorials we wish to portray the cheerful, eager, powerful dynamics we believe every real wedding carries. The droll and fantastical moments, enthusiasm and emotion, the dramatic ruffles of silk on a bride's dress as she spins in a dance, the movement and gestures that define a relationship.
It's pretty easy to create editorial wedding images that are static. But as real weddings are not passive nor fixed the same applies to our editorial work. Yes there are quiet moments too, but even those are instilled with inner passion, buoyance, idyll. Wedding editorials exist to inspire real wedding actions and therefore we believe that real actions should infuse them, providing that spine-tingling realization of a real bride thinking "yes, this is me".
